First of all, forgive the seemingly overacting excitement. It's just that I never win anything. Or if I do, somehow the Universe conspires to prevent me from claiming my prize. You wouldn't believe how many times I held an "almost' winning raffle ticket in my sad, sweaty, frustrated hands. It often happens that the winning number is just one count off from my number.
Then, just a few minutes ago, I receive this:
When the maid handed it to me, I was surprised because I knew that the packages that I was expecting from online shopping have already arrived yesterday. When I opened it and saw what was inside, I knew that I had won Avon Philippines' contest where they give away an amazing 35 bras DAILY until the end of January. This is to celebrate their 35 years in business.
It was so easy to join too-- just have five friends like their page (lucky for me, I already have five friends who like their page anyway, so no more need to invite anyone else to do so), then fill out the info sheet so that they will know your bra size and the address where they can ship your prize in the event that you should win. And I have to say, I was impressed by their promptness. I belatedly checked the winner's list and just saw now that my name was drawn as a winner for January 18-- which was just yesterday.
The cool part? They did not even need to notify me that I won. The first thing I knew about it was when the prize arrived at my door.
I wonder if this is a portent of things to come... Is the tide of my luck finally changing??? LOL
Why not try your luck too?
P.S: This is by no means a sponsored post or an advertorial. I'm just a happy gal who felt the need to blog about this because I really and truly just never have any luck with raffles and draws :)
Oh, and good morning to you too! Off to fit my new Avon bra,
The Kikay Mom

Shoe Love in Blinged Out Flats
Hi, everyone! Just wanted to share this awesome black ballet flats that I got from Figliarina. When it comes to making a fashion statement, nothing quite does it like a pair of stilletos but every now and then, a girl has got to settle for something more sensible. The Swarovski detail on this pair, however, saved it from being just a boring pair of flats-- I love how it catches the light with every step I take.
Bought at Trinoma department store for P1500.
And while we are on the topic of shoes, you might want to head over to Denise's blog and join her shoe giveaway-- tomorrow she will choose three lucky winners who will get the pair of their choice from her online shoe store. You don't have to go through the whole Rafflecopter circus too: just pick out what prize you would like to win and tell her your shoe size. Pretty cool, huh? Of course I joined already :)

| I love that the insole of the shoe is gold-- it can't be seen when worn but small details like that sure adds to its prettiness. |
