One night, when I was checking my email, I came upon a message from Sampleroom entitled January Commenter of the Month winner. I only opened it out of idle curiosity to see who the lucky gal was when to my surprise, it was not a standard newsletter at all but a message asking me to confirm my shipping address. It took me a few moments to fully comprehend that I won!
I was surprised (and delighted) to have been picked because I don't like commenting just for the sake of having posted a comment. If you'll notice, a lot of bloggers who run a Commenter of the Month contest are mostly about increasing their daily traffic which is why they include the number of comments as a criterion. But I have only posted one (maybe two?) comments on the Sampleroom blog and they did make good on their promise to base their decision based on the quality -- not the quantity-- of the comments.
Ok, so long story short, my prize was delivered straight to my door, and boy, is it great! Here's what it contained:
I got Ahava samples (the very same ones I grabbed with my own account a month ago, which is awesome because I loved both), a tub of Davines hair masque, a 7-day Yves Rocher Hydra vegetal pack containing a cleanser, toner and moisturizer, and full-size ones of the ff: Leyende Clean Slate cleanser; Moringa-02 toner, lotion and bath soap; and my very own squishy pink Sample room throw pillow. With the exception of the Ahava All-in-One toner, Ahava Hand Cream, and Moringa-O2 lotion, all other goodies have not been offered to regular Sampleroom subscribers which is why I'm feeling very special indeed. Lol
My favorite of this bunch? The Moringa-O2 products which smell exactly like my favorite daily scent: Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. I am going to be layering this so I can smell fresh and light all day long :)
